Birdie in the Gazette

The Gazette’s Shopgirl writer, Jenny Peterson, was kind enough to pop into Birdie and give us a lovely little write up. Pick up a copy of the latest issue!

Canton with the girls!

I'm getting ready to head out tomorrow for another adventure in Canton, TX.
Tyler will be taking care of Birdie so I can go with 3 of my favorite ladies!
We are renting a U-Haul so hopefully we will all come back with loads of cool loot!
Pic post coming soon!

FLOWERS!!!

I am as busy as a bee...
Wedding season is quickly approaching and whimsical, vintage chic weddings are all I can think about.

In preparation for the wonderful world of weddings, we are getting ready to launch our floral and event design website!

Here's a sneak peak of what you can expect from www.thebirdiesnest.com
(Hopefully launching next week!)

Had an AMAZING shoot with miss Sarah Denbow on Tuesday....

We did a super romantic tea party complete with both of my grandmothers china, crystal and silver.

Oklahoma's state tree, the Redbud, was obviously the inspiration for the color pallete.

Sweet pink and purple tulips, white alstroemeria, white lilac and dusty miller perched on top of a "Birdie" cage.

Flea Market with my honey...

So, I took Tyler to Canton for his first REAL flea market experience...
I'm pretty sure he loved it.

We saw all kinds of junk, treasures, antiques & even Annie Clark of St. Vincent.

Picked up two of these babies for 45 buckaroos.
Knoll wooden chairs that just need a little new fabric.

I thought we should bring this back to put up for Dustbowl...
(Our logo contains a rather large windmill)

Here's a peak at the final haul...

Most is heading up to the shop to join our "Treasures" inventory.
The mini windmill and the giant globe are heading to our house.
