Even More Progress...

It's beginning to look a lot like Birdie!
Comfy couch with new Mod Green Pod Fabric.
Sample swatches of their solids and prints will be available
at Birdie. You can buy it by the yard and transform your own
vintage pieces into little green treasures.
Coffee table was a Canton flea score for $20.00
Just a taste of some BEAUTIFUL ceramics by
Pigeon Toe of Portland, OR.
I decided to reward myself for all my hard work .
Opened some boxes and took a look
at all the fun shipments we've received thus far.

My High-School-Self will be satisfied tonight...

So, Tyler managed to get us some free tickets to the Willie Nelson/ DMB show tonight in Tulsa. Although I’ve fallen out of touch with Dave’s new music, I’m super duper excited. I will proudly say I was the first person in McAlester to have a DMB sticker on my car so I am ashamed to say I have never seen them live. One summer, when I was taking dance classes in California, I learned an amazing piece to “The Dreaming Tree”. It was one of those classes that when I left I felt completely wiped out and happy all at once. What a great group of musicians and an amazing repertoire of songs.

Can’t forget about Willie Nelson. He’s awesome and definately a good one to fill in on my “dance card”. Listened to Songbird last night and was thinking about how awesome it would be if Ryan came out to play with him. Okay husband, be proud of me for a musical musings post with the inclusion of your other love. Tonight will be sweet!
